Should you cut the track accidentally etc, please try and re-join from the same place.  If this isn’t possible, please wait the appropriate amount of time making sure you do not to gain an advantage, a small loss would be expected.

Remember to wait on the rostrum until your heat is finished no leaving the rostrum early.

Get ready for the Southwest Regional Race Series 2026.

Whether you’ve been racing regionals for years or you’re stepping up for the first time, this season brings Five rounds across the county — with two rounds at Tivi, two at Plymouth, and one at TRAC forming the calendar.

A valid BRCA membership is required to compete. All entries and payments must be completed via the official BRCA PayPal booking system on the BRCA website. Junior entries are free, although BRCA membership is still required.

For 2026, 2WD and 4WD will run separately to give each class the time and focus it deserves. 4WD will take place on a club race day, with a scheduled track change included — allowing drivers the option to run both classes on the same day if they wish. 2WD will have its own dedicated event day, providing a full schedule centred solely around that class.

F Grades will be used for initial seeding at the first round to assist with fair heat allocation. From round two onwards, ability ranking will be determined automatically by the race software based on results.

Tyre rules for 2026 are as follows: Round 1 at TRAC: Schumacher Azami rear tyre, open front which needs to be a commercialy available. Tivi and Plymouth rounds: Schumacher Mezzo or Ballistic mini spike rear tyre, again open front as long as its commercialy available.

These tyre rules apply to both 2WD and 4WD.

Prizes will be awarded across the championship, and your best three rounds will count towards the final standings, so consistency across the season will be important.

The Smithy Cup will once again recognise sportsmanship, and on-site AED provision through the Keep Your Heart Racing initiative ensures safety remains a priority at every round. We look forward to seeing you trackside for the 2026 season.
